Most balayage appointments take about 3 to 4 hours, including lightening, toning, and a blow-dry style. Longer or darker hair may take a little more time.
Because balayage grows out softly with no harsh regrowth line, most clients only need a refresh every 3 to 4 months — making it one of the lowest-maintenance color options.
